WHAT DOES JUKAR HIDE DEEP INSIDE

 

We are living the millennial generation, a generation in which social media and communication is pretty much done on the Internet. The majority of people in the world have experienced a great change, and we have adapted quickly to it, becoming creators of content. Many have left the anonymity to become what we know today as “influencers.” Influencers help expose brands in ways that the average person could never really do. In Perseus, we have had an approach to these influencers, and like other brands, we revive not only the way to multiply their contents but also highlight the part that makes them real men modern warriors who fight, undertake, and share their successes and challenges.

 

This time we are going to talk about a man who, with each publication, ignites on social media.  It’s Juan Carlos Cortés, but he is better known as Jukar or @Jukarcorlo. He is a 40-year-old Colombian with a history of being out of the ordinary. Juan has more than 23 thousand followers on his social media networks (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) thanks to his nearly 600 photographs, most of which are him in underwear, where he not only shows us his sculptural body but also the different kinds and styles of his favorite garment (the underwear).

 

 

 

HIS REVEAL

 

Juan Carlos is a coach, actor, theater teacher, and, most importantly, a head of household who generally engages in constant learning and improvement of the internal and the external being.  Yes, gentlemen, behind those sensual photos, there is a human being who views his body as is his work tool, because as actors, “we look to exhibit the character but not the body.” And that was how after studying acting, he lost his shyness and learned a little more about the importance of the light, shadows, and angles when taking a picture.

 

 

 

 

But not everything is a bed of roses. Juan Carlos had thyroid cancer, which caused him to lose a considerable amount of weight, to be on the verge of death and reach 80 pounds weighing, undergo treatments and medications that led to a successful recovery.  After this, he began a complete process to recover his body, his confidence, and his self-esteem because for most of that time, he was not comfortable with his appearance due to his terrible disease.

 

 

It was a multi-year process until the moment he started uploading photos to social media networks to show Juan’s physical progress. Thanks to this and the support of his family and followers, he is confident in his body’s capabilities and does not pretend to be revealing in his photos. To Juan, his body is nothing more than “his work tool.”.

 

After years of recovery and hundreds of pictures on social media, Juan’s followers didn’t take long to come. Thus, becoming a “cool” character who has a certain degree of popularity and recognition and has managed great charisma always tries to answer the great part of the comments of his fans.

 

Curiously, his first approach as a brand influencer was not precisely in the underwear category, as he was not aware that brands take advantage of this way to get closer to their different audiences’ areas of interest. But he agreed to the offer. He also mentioned that at the beginning, he felt distrust when having to give personal information, such as the address of his residence, he could not believe that this was a job and a post could change the imaginary of buyer. Slowly, more brands were arriving inviting him to be part of his image, and little by little, the distrust disappeared.

 

Juan is currently working with more than six brands, among which are barbershops, hairdressers, and, of course, Perseus Underwear, his greatest achievement, since he states that being an international brand gives him much more status and recognition, making it a household item for many.
