2. 60% of men prefer Boxers (Boxers / Boxer-Briefs), 38% Briefs and the remaining 2% Trunks Thongs and Jockstraps.
3. Jockstraps have been in the men´s wardrobe since 1874.
4. It is a well registered and known fact that men’s underwear have been in fashion since around the year 1,300 BC. Apparently, the first fabrics used in which primitive underwear was leather, linen and cotton.
5. The best-selling fabric in underwear is cotton with 50% of sales, followed by cotton combined with elastane with 22% and the third modal with 11%.
6. In 60% of the cases, men’s underwear is purchased by women.
7. White and black continue to be the colours of greatest acceptance.
8. On an average, a man should have approximately 15 pieces of underwear in his closet.
