Do you want love, money, and prosperity for the year that is about to begin?  Many of us prepare to receive the new year, and superstitions are used to bring good luck and prosperity for the upcoming year.  These rituals are part of a tradition invented by the French, brought to America by the Spaniards, and adopted by the indigenous peoples.  Among the most common wishes are to get a loving partner for a stable relationship, find a better job that provides a better income, as well as omens to cleanse our energy starting the new year from scratch.

Some of the most popular rituals are eating 12 grapes at midnight and, for each one, making a wish, or taking out a suitcase full of clothes and money and run around your block.  But how effective will they be? Some people say they have worked, while others believe that it is just a tradition or a simple myth.  Whatever it is, many people do it with the aim of attracting the best vibes, close cycles, and begin new projects off the right foot.

Here are the most common superstitions to attract love, money, and prosperity:

• To Attract Love:  Some take advantage of the first minutes of the new year to embrace or kiss the first person he or she likes and in this way make the new year to bring him/her someone to share new adventures.

Others, unlucky in love, prefer to wear red underwear, and we really like this.  For this special night, we recommend you use a Brief or a Trunk, either red, orange, or maybe pink if you are a little more daring. These colors will help you to enhance your sensuality, eroticism, and passionate spirit.

If none of the above methods works, find a broom and put it together with fresh bread on the 31st at midnight; representing boyfriend and girlfriend, the result will be known within a year.

• To Attract Money and Prosperity: One of the simplest and most effective superstitions is to blend vanilla essence with cinnamon powder, and before midnight on the 31st, wash your hands with it. If the goal is to ward off bad energy, it is recommended to ring a bell in the house at midnight. Others, on the other hand, prefer a glass of champagne with some gold items inside or to start a Saint Patrick’s novena that same day.

Of course, you cannot miss the yellow underwear to attract abundancy and prosperity.  Use the garment with which you feel most comfortable: a boxer, a brief, a trunk, or a jockstrap yellow or gold. The key is to use it upside down before midnight and to put it back in the right way right after.

Conversely, if your wish for a new year is to change jobs, what you can do is to put three bay leaves in one of your shoes. You must also burn the leaves the next day.
